The Olsen's grandmother, Edythe Mae, is the namesake of this vineyard, which is a lovely example of Washington state Syrah. This wine was barrel aged for 19 months in a combination of new and used french oak. Fragrances of currant, blackberry & molasses are followed by a mouthful of raspberry, dark cherry and plum, finishing with hints of spice and fine grained tannins. |
