Vineyard Notes:
The 2007 Olsen Estates Petit Verdot was the product of one lot from one vineyard site. Ranch #15, also known as "Olsen Hill," is an extremely rocky, moderately hot site. This combination allows us to obtain smaller berries, which lend to more concentration, as well as a longer ripening period without excessive sugar accumulation. The result is a very dense concentrated expression of this varietal.
