Vineyard Notes:
Our 2007 Olsen Estates Merlot is a blend of just two vineyard sites, Ranch #17 and #21.  Ranch #21, our hottest Merlot site makes up the backbone of this wine, bringing tannins, dark cherry and a slight mineral character.  Ranch #17, a bit cooler site with deeper soils, gives us more finesse and floral characters.
